Following the success of the Kx5 (deadmau5/Kaskade) Eat Sleep Remix victory, the LATENT SPACE project is set to launch a new era with the release of the latest single, ‘States,’ on the 27th of November 2024. 

The LATENT SPACE project is an electronic music project intertwining the emotional impacts between music and visuals. ‘States’ marks a significant release in the projects journey, positioning itself as the debut release of the new, immersive era. Independently available on all major streaming platforms and Bandcamp (pay what you want), ‘States’ explores various moments and emotions in and out of relationships.

Largely instrumental, the track opens with calm, ethereal textures, and subtle drums. Tension builds through a cinematic synth-line before a hard-hitting laser-like drop releases. An ethereal voice asks the question, "If I said this was love, would you feel better?" The track guides listeners through different states, blending sound, familiar moments, and introspection to make you feel… “something.”

“‘States’ is about capturing the moments that we don’t often share. Some moments are calm and subdued, while others are viscerally intense. I wanted to try and capture those experiences.”

Inspired by the parallels of AI and human nature, the project explores emotions through cinematic movements, innovative sound design, and captivating visuals. The project gained significant momentum after winning the Kx5 - Eat Sleep (feat. Richard Walters) remix competition, earning support from industry heavyweights deadmau5 and Kaskade. This victory marked a set point for the project, fuelling new ambitions to push further into the world of immersive productions.

Before evolving into LATENT SPACE, the focus was towards commercial pop-EDM productions, amassing over 6 million streams under an alternative alias. LATENT SPACE shifts towards a more introspective and emotionally charged performance.
